Head of People & Culture
Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.
Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.
We are looking for a People & Culture business partner who wants to take their next steps in their People & Culture career into a Head of People & culture role. You will be functional leading the People & Culture officer, you will be part of the management team in the Netherlands and navigate your way in an international matrix organisation. You have support from our UK people & culture team as well as the management team. We have an open culture where we support growth and will be there for you along the way.
In this position, you are solely responsible for HR in the Benelux (around 80 employees). You report directly to the CEO of Northern Europe and have a dotted line to the Chief People Officer in London. For payroll, you are assisted by a People Officer (part-time). Your main goal in this position is creating and supporting a healthy organization with regards to formation, low sick-rates, happy employees and transparent, solid and reliable People administration and appreciated People management, all compliant with local law and legislation. Furthermore you are:
A business partner and sounding board for CEO, Department heads in the Benelux, colleagues from the People Department in the Gamma Group, Chief People officer and international entities;
A member of the Management Team in the Netherlands;
A condition-creating, advisory and pioneering role in the development and embedding of modern HR policy and participating in the process of organizational and personnel development and change management for example Performance management;
Responsible for monthly payroll in NL and solid HR policy, administration and processes;
Actively identifying and thinking along with strategic development and translating them to the organization. Quickly recognize the HR processes in the organization (at strategic, tactical and operational level), indicate the bottlenecks and translate this into advice;
Point of contact for HR suppliers such as company doctors, insurances and pensions;
What you’ll need 🚀
High level of communication skills for interaction with departments in NL and Gamma Group UK.
High level of (written and verbal) Dutch and English for interaction with departments NL, Gamma Group and our HR suppliers.
High level of judgment and critical thinking, necessary to deal with the range of strategical, tactical and operational challenges.
Academic or bachelor’s degree level of education and thinking in HR.
5 years of experience as People Business Partner in operational, tactical and strategical level.
Capable of seamlessly transitioning between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

A few things to note ✨
This role will require to travel twice or three times a year to our office in Londen to meet with your fellow People & Culture colleagues.
